PACKHOPE Experience with Mt. Zion Church

On Saturday, July 10th, the field next to Mt. Zion will be the venue where we will gather with members of several other churches to package 120,000 rice & bean meals for distribution by Unto to refugees and food insecure communities in some of the toughest places on earth – Africa, The Middle East, Latin America, and Central Asia.

This will be a huge undertaking as we seek to mobilize 24 teams of ~12 people each who will raise or contribute $1,800 per team to produce one full pallet of meals – enough to feed 30 families (or 150 people) one nutritious meal a day for a full month.

Overall we are partnering to mobilize nearly 300 volunteers and raise over $40,000 to feed and minister to an estimated 4,200 people. Together we can help relieve suffering, restore dignity, and reveal the hope of Jesus to those most affected by this past year’s pandemic.

Mission Outreach is looking for 12 volunteers to participate. If interested please contact Sis. Helen James by emailing [email protected]

The event is finished.
